Mayor nominated for RDA board
Gosford Council will nominate mayor Cr Lawrie McKinna for a seat on the Regional Development Australia Central Coast board.
Regional Development Australia Central Coast is advertising up to four Board positions this month.
Regional Development Australia is a partnership between the Australian, state, territory and local governments to support the growth and development of Australia's regions.
The national network of 55 committees aim to build partnerships between governments, regional development organisations, local businesses, community groups and key regional stakeholders to provide strategic and targeted responses to economic, environmental and social issues affecting the regions of Australia.
Regional Development Australia Central Coast was created by merging the Central Coast of NSW Area Consultative Committee with Business Central Coast.
Funding for the organisation is shared between the Australian Government and the NSW State Government.
Regional Development Australia Central Coast has been established as a conduit between governments and the community.
