Students practised lock down

Students at Empire Bay Public School practiced the second set of the school's emergency procedures on Monday, August 27.

The purpose of the lockdown procedure was to remove all staff and students from playground areas to safe areas such as classrooms.

"Our school is committed to implementing best practice work, health and safety protocols and to the regular review of our policy and procedures," said principal Mr Brad Lewis.

"Children participated in this emergency drill in a sensible manner," he said.
