Rode along the airstrip

I was two years old when my parents moved to Ettalong.

We then moved to McMasters Rd.

During the late 40s and early 50s, I used to ride my push bike the full length of the old air strip from McMasters Rd to Ocean Beach (Umina) to go to piano lessons.

I cannot recall them, but I know there were many scary stories about the air strip.
