Ethics volunteers wanted

Volunteers are currently being sought for primary ethics teaching positions at a number of schools on the Peninsula.

The NSW Government has authorised primary ethics classes to be introduced into local schools with the intention to deliver optional philosophical ethics education for children who do not attend special religious education-scripture classes.

The program runs almost entirely on volunteers and is currently running at Umina Public School and Woy Woy South Public School.

Teaching positions are currently available at Umina Public School and Woy Woy South Public School, as well as volunteer coordinator positions at Ettalong Public School and Woy Woy Public School.

With inquiries, contact Danielle on uminaethics@optusnet.com.au.
