Crossing is not warranted

It seems like a pedestrian study at Patonga would be a good idea if it was warranted.

The Patonga Rd through the National Park is where there have been numerous accidents and fatalities in the last 12 months.

That is where the money should be spent.

After all, the Patonga Hotel is only busy for a few hours on weekends during summer when it doesn't rain.

With this in mind, I would have thought the Council would be better off prioritising their budget to where it can do the most good: Patonga Rd.

Maybe the Council should install a pedestrian walkway from the nearby boat ramp car park for the hotel patrons.

This is money better spent and has been suggested on numerous occasions by the locals.

The crossing concept is not money well spent nor warranted.
