Wheelchair classic

Everglades Country Club will host the Wheelchair Sports NSW Singles Classic from Sunday, February 12, until Tuesday, February 14.

The event is a major NSW event and bowlers will come from all over the state to participate.

"Although called the Wheelchair Classic, many of the bowlers are disabled in many different ways, the loss of an arm or a leg or a medical problem," said Everglades Country Club Men's Bowls senior vice president Mr Peter Arnold.

"This doesn't affect their bowling ability and you won't find a nicer group of people to talk to," he said.
