Science was theme

Pretty Beach Public School celebrated a science-themed Education Week with an open day on Wednesday, August 3.

Principal Ms Deborah Callender said student performances were held during assembly.

"Many parents and community members joined us for the sausage sizzle picnic lunch," she said.

"The students gained much knowledge and insight into the fundamentals of science by viewing the Jollybop's show as well as participating in the rotational hands-on science sessions developed by individual teachers."
