Petitions against Catholic development

Gosford Council has received five petitions against a proposed development on the corner of West St and Morris St, Umina.

The petitions contained a total of 1212 signatures.

The petitioners stated that the development on land owned by the Catholic church "does not blend with the current structures and exceeds the height of existing structures of the area".

Council has referred the petition to its Development section.
