Retired man wins $5.75 million
A Peninsula resident is $5.75 million richer after winning the $2 jackpot lottery ticket on Monday, September 17.
The winning ticket was purchased at Deepwater Plaza, Woy Woy.
According to NSW Lotteries, the winner is a retired man who asked not to be identified, but said that the money would go to good use.
The win makes it the second time in two weeks that a person on the Central Coast has been made an instant millionaire.
On September 10, a Central Coast woman won $10 million in Powerball after purchasing her ticket in Gosford.
