Visiting from Japan
Five university students from Japan visited the Woy Woy Community Aged Care Centre on March 2 as part of their two-week visit to Australia.
The students were all final-year social welfare students specialising in aged care from Hokuriku University on Honshu Island.
Mr Peter Cummins, an interpreter employed by Magill College, escorted them.
The group also visited a dietitian, a kindergarten and had English lessons.
The tour program is in its sixth year and costs about $5000 per person.
The tour included one day at the Australian Reptile Park, one day of shopping and a home stay with an Australian family.
