Free parenting course
A free 1-2-3 Magic Parenting Course will be held at Beachside Family Centre for three weeks on Tuesday evenings from Tuesday, June 7.
The course aims to teach parents how to manage undesirable behaviour, encourage good behaviour and improve their relationship with children aged two to 10 years old.
"You won't need to study child psychology to understand the three simple steps in the 1-2-3 Magic program and get results quickly," said centre facilitator Ms Debbie Notara.
"You will also learn how to manage the six kinds of testing and manipulation, how to handle misbehaviour in public and how to avoid the Talk-Persuade-Argue-Yell-Hit Syndrome," she said.
