Special exhibition

The Patonga Bakehouse Gallery is hosting a special exhibition of the works of John Johansen of Patonga.

Mr Johansen recently survived a kidney transplant after many years on dialysis.

The artist has found a new lease on life and his creativity is going from strength to strength, according to gallery director Ms Jocelyn Maughan.

The exhibition aims to be a celebration of Mr Johansen's art.

"John's life and his art is an example to us all," said Ms Maughan.
