Council represents community
Matthew Wales (Peninsula News, April 18) is using his position as Chamber of Commerce president to further his own business interests.
We elect the council to make decisions in the interest of the local community; they are not there in the interest of the state.
We don't want the state to over-ride the interests of the local community.
