The use of cover up is a classic tool to fool and soothe the public.

A good example is when it took the British Government 10 years to reveal to the public the dangers of mad cow disease.

Spin is the word and the game.

I know from my own experience that servants of spin are downright dumbfounded when they speak to a politician who actually believes in something apart from money.
