Fun with sounds morning

Beachside Family Centre will be running a free Fun with Sounds Play Morning on Wednesday, March 23, from 10.30am to 12pm.

Centre facilitator Ms Debbie Notara said parents and children aged three to five would focus on learning sounds.

"There will be craft, songs and games all be based on the sound 'M'.

"Of course, brothers and sisters are also welcome to come along to this free event.

"Children can bring along a favourite toy or item starting with the letter M too."

The morning will be organised by Peninsula community reader Ms Jill Knighton.

"Community readers are volunteers rostered to read at preschools and playgroups to support little people developing a love of books," said Ms Notara.
