Vocation prize

Brisbane Water Secondary College student Christopher Richardson has been awarded the Australian Vocational Student Prize.

The inaugural Australian Vocational Student Prize recognises students who have excelled in a Vocational Education and Training in Schools programme, or a school-based new apprenticeship, and includes a certificate and a $2000 cash prize.

Federal member for Robertson Mr Jim Lloyd, announced the local award.

"It gives me great pleasure to see Central Coast students are excelling nationally by demonstrating exceptional skill, commitment and achievement in extra-curricular activities," Mr Lloyd said.
