Patisserie wins awards

Bremen Patisserie of Umina has won the outstanding bakery-cake shop category in both of the Central Coast's newspaper business awards for this year.

It won the same category in the Central Coast Business Awards and in the Community Business Awards.

Bremen Patisserie won the same award in two previous years and in one case went on to become champion of champions by winning the overall award, defeating the champion bakery-cake shop from all other areas in New South Wales.

Proprietor Ron Bruns said: "I'm delighted with the level of recognition that we get.

"We are only a small independently-run shop in Umina.

"We just keep doing our best week after week and we must be doing it right, because we keep being selected as the best."
