Youth Voice Forum to be run by youth support service
Peninsula Youth Voice Forum will be held at the Umina Beach Surf Life Saving Club from 11am to 1pm on Thursday, June 22.
It will be run by the Regional Youth Support Services and will be open to young people from the Peninsula between the ages of 12 and 24.
Lunch will be provided.
"This is your opportunity to speak with community leaders regarding the Peninsula and building a community where you feel safe, supported and proud to be a part of," said organiser Ms Beck Johnston, a targeted early intervention case worker with the service.
"It will run as a round table conversation between young people and community leaders."
The participating community leaders have not been named.
Limited spots will be available, and may be booked by calling Ms Johnston on 0439 462 738 or by email to programworker@ryss.com.au.
