Fire brigade rescues dog stuck under shipping container
Fire and Rescue NSW heavy rescue equipment from Gosford was called to rescue a puppy trapped under a shipping container on the Peninsula last Wednesday, March 16.
The pup had squeezed himself into a tight spot and was trapped under the container.
The Gosford heavy rescue appliance was called with specialist rescue equipment.
The Gosford crews had had a big day doing vertical rescue exercises, hauling patients off cliff faces, and setting up rope systems as part of training and professional development as the vertical rescue specialists.
An extrication plan was devised, using high pressure air bags along with packing blocks to make enough room for Hamo to be reunited with his family unharmed.
