Headline accurately predicts the future

Almost two years ago (April 2020), Peninsula News contained a report headlined "Nurse warns of complacency as Covid-19 curve flattens".

This headline accurately predicted the pandemics' history past present and future.

Was it coincidence or were the medical profession and the editor most concerned about the risks and changes ahead?

Is it appropriate that the report be republished, to remind local residents of the facts and how the pandemic, now in its third year, has been mismanaged?

The most concerning comment in the report is: "Australia will probably run low on resources soon too".

Was there a more accurate description of future events published in the local media?

We are now in the third vax-booster stage, with further vax-booster medication possible.

What impact will this have on the future, as the long term consequences unfold?

Media meetings have been a daily rehash of old information, without any urgency.

The fact that this is not the first pandemic recorded indicates we have learnt very little from history .

Am I repeating the advice given in Peninsula News in April 2020?
