Ride to Gosford and back

The Central Coast Bicycle User Group held a ride from Woy Woy to Gosford on Saturday.

The ride was described as "a slow paced ride along the beautiful Coastal Cycleway (or Point to Pelicans cycleway-shared path) with great views of Brisbane Water".

The ride was 25km with a duration of two hours, and was one of a number of regular rides organised by the club.

"We ride over Spike Milligan bridge and through several parks along the way," said leader Mr Alan Corven.

"This ride starts at the Fishermans Wharf and ends back in Woy Woy.

"The ride may also be run in reverse (Gosford to Woy Woy Boomerang), starting on the shared path beside Gosford Pool.

"Coffee at Woy Woy upon completion, or somewhere else if a better option is suggested.

"Opt-out is possible at Gosford waterfront for a shorter ride.

"Covid-safe rules apply, so don't come if you are unwell, a close contact or Covid positive.

"Bring a mask and check-in; water, snack and tools."

For information about future rides, call Mr Corven on 0414 538 977.
