Face-to-face bridge games to resume
Brisbane Water Bridge Club will resume face-to-face bridge games from Monday, October 25.
This co-incides with Central Coast Council re-opening the Peninsula Community Centre that day.
The club is celebrating with a Red Point Week.
Mon 25th Oct - Labour Day Pairs will be played on the Monday.
Tue 26th Oct - Oktoberfest Pairs will be played on the Tuesday.
Wed 27th Oct - Spring Pairs will be played on the Wednesday.
On the Thursday, Eric Gibson Teams will play and, on Saturday, Halloween Pairs will be played.
The club has scheduled its Open Pairs Club Championship for Mondays, November 1 and 8, doubling as a State Open Pairs qualifier.
The Novice Pairs Club Championship will be played on Wednesdays, November 3 and 10.
Later in November, Remembrance Day Pairs are planned for November 11, Upside Down Pairs for November 15 and AGM Pairs November 22.
A current indoor recreation limit of 20 persons per activity means that, for bridge sessions on Tuesday and Saturday afternoons, and Wednesday morning, the club is limited to five tables.
On Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons when the Seniors Room is available, the club will be able to run two separate activities of five tables per room.
Other NSW Health restrictions will apply.
The wearing of face masks will be compulsory.
Players will need to show proof of vaccination before entering the clubroom. This will be your digital certificate on smartphone or, a hard copy version.
