Search and rescue training for the Bays brigade
The Bays Rural Fire Brigade has undertaken search and rescue training at Charmhaven.
Captain Stephen O'Donohue said the training was at Charmhaven "smoke house", with Kariong communications and operations support.
"It was a great morning.
"The scenarios included a building being on fire and people needed to be found and extracted, first aid rendered and the fire extinguished.
"The 'house' was smoke filled, needing specialist teams searching, with other members rolling-feeding hoses to those searching, and then first aid for for people found."
