Group plans to plant 100 trees

The Peninsula's Grow Urban Shade Trees Group has over 100 trees which it plans to plant around the Peninsula in autumn.

Group member Ms Melissa Chandler said the group was focusing on keeping trees planted in the past year watered and healthy over the summer.

Cooler weather was needed to plant the young trees, she said.
