Everglades Men win mid-week triples

Everglades Men's Bowling Club has won Bowls Central Coast's B Grade Mid-Week Triples event.

Both the B and C Grade Triples finals were contested by the Everglades and Mingara clubs at Umina Beach Bowling Club on November 27.

"Everglades had a comfortable win in the B Grade Final 81-52 but the C Grade was a big struggle," said Bowls Central Coast secretary Mr Doug Rose.

"At one stage Mingara trailed by 25 points but came back to win 72 to 70, never in the lead until the last few ends.

"Each team won $650 for their club which constituted one third of the entry fees received by Bowls Central Coast for the event," Mr Rose said.

Terrigal took out A Grade.
