Softball players still wanted

The Peninsula Ducks Softball Club is still seeking members, despite registering more players this year than last.

President Ms Di Barrymore the club had passed its player registration numbers from last year which was its inaugural season.

Ms Barrymore said the club was still in need of more new members to ensure it could field full teams for the start of the season on October 12.

"We are still looking for men and juniors aged 5 to 14.

"We are so close to having our own junior softball team and halfway to our own teeball team.

"It would be great if we could fill our own.

"If anyone knows any kids who might be interested please have them get in touch.

"We accept the active kids voucher and every new junior receives playing shirt, cap, socks, ball and glove for free.

"All new seniors also get their playing shirt, cap and socks for free," Ms Barrymore said.

She said the club was the area's only Central Coast Softball Association accredited club.
