Reject selective journalism
The editor's policy (Peninsula News 445) not to publish letters making personal attacks protects the attacked but also the attacker.
Perhaps it should not.
After all, there is a vast range of personalities within our community.
Mr Scot MacDonald has shot himself in the foot.
By printing Mr MacDonald's contribution, the editor has made it known to the Peninsula News readership that Mr MacDonald is now a casualty of the political battlefield and I think will soon be retired from duty.
Mr MacDonald has shown that he is not worthy of public office.
It's that simple.
Reject selective journalism.
