MP to hold 'Listening Post'

Federal Member for Robertson Ms Lucy Wicks is inviting the Peninsula community to have their say on issues that matter to them at an upcoming "Listening Post" at Empire Bay.

Ms Wicks said she was hosting the event following concerns raised by residents regarding the quality of water in suburbs such as Bensville, Empire Bay and Umina Beach.

The Listening Post will take place at Kings Cafe, Empire Bay, on Wednesday February 21, from 2pm.

The event is one of many local Listening Posts being held by Ms Wicks across the community, including most recently at Woy Woy and Terrigal.

"I was shocked to see the pictures of dirty brown water coming from the taps of homes in our community.
