Exchange student returns for Rotary club's birthday

The Rotary Club of Umina Beach celebrated its 42nd birthday on Wednesday, February 7.

It made a presentation by Ms Jenna Woodhouse who recently returned from a Rotary exchange to Mexico.

Ms Clara Delfosse, a former exchange student from Belgium, also attended the meeting.

Ms Woodhouse shared her experiences as an exchange student sponsored by the club.

She said that, when Ms Delfosse was hosted by Umina Beach Rotary Club during her exchange to Australia, she stayed with Ms Woodhouse's grandparents Mr Bobby and Ms Sue Clark and it was her visit which sparked Jenna's initial interest in Rotary youth exchange.
