Bank inquiry is good news

It is good news to know that the major political parties have agreed to a formal inquiry into the operations of the major banks.

Federal Minister King O'Malley struggled against conservatives in both parties to finally develop the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

This bank was a great boon to the nation and to the working people.

School children were encouraged to save their money with the Commonwealth Bank.

Unfortunately, this bank was privatised and their help to the poor was turned to greed.

Poor people were stripped of their savings by massive bank charges.

Let's hope the enquiry will redress some of these wrongs.
