Liberals endorse businesswoman mother of three
"Community advocate and businesswoman", Ms Jilly Pilon, has been endorsed as the Liberal Party candidate for Gosford for the upcoming by-election.
The 46-year-old mother of three said she had spent her entire life on the Central Coast, completing her schooling at Erina Heights Public School and Terrigal High School, before going on to work in banking for 12 years across the Coast, including at Umina Beach, East Gosford, West Gosford and Woy Woy.
Ms Pilon has co-owned a local aluminium manufacturing business for 23 years giving her first-hand experience of the pressures facing small businesses on the Coast.
She said a strong commitment to family underpinned her life.
With her husband Mic, their son Fletcher and daughter Gabbi, Jilly said she was passionate about raising awareness of the importance of Transplant Australia and Donate Life following the death of their son and brother Banjo.
"The Central Coast is my home," Ms Pilon said.
"It's where I grew up, it's where I've lived and worked my whole life and it's where Mic and I have chosen to raise our children.
"I am passionate about the area and I want to make sure Gosford and the Central Coast have a strong voice in the Liberal Government who will fight for our area," Ms Pilon said.
