Test for serenity and courtesy
There is a lot of concern about the current road toll and that preventive measures are not working to reduce the toll.
I believe a new factor should be introduced into the driver's licence.
It is a social responsibility test to ensure that prospective drivers are taught courtesy and responsibility to other drivers.
I brought this concept to a former Labor Government, but they were not interested.
I'm sure a social responsibility test would help reduce the road toll.
The purpose would be to encourage drivers to be courteous, serene and unselfish.
The test would have to be compulsory.
