Array of excursions at Ettalong
Ettalong Public School students are being treated to an array of experiences through excursions during Term 4.
Stage 3 students (Year 5 and 6) departed for a week of adventure and learning at Myuna Bay Sport and Recreation Camp on Monday, November 7.
"The week will be a wonderful opportunity for the students to further develop independence and resilience and try out new leisure and sporting activities in a safe and nurturing environment," said principal Mr Collin Wallis.
"I am sure they will come back full of exciting stories and a sense of achievement."
Mr Wallis said: "Our Kindergarten students are going to the Brisbane Water Secondary College's farm for their second excursion of the year.
"This is always an exciting time for the children.
"On the same day, our Year 2 students are riding on the ferry around the beautiful Brisbane Water as part of their Human Society in the Environment unit," he said.
