Students attend camp at Gwandalan
Selected students from Year 5 and 6 at Umina Beach Public School recently attended the Central Coast Gifted and Talented Camp at Point Wolstoncroft Sport and Recreation Centre, Gwandalan.
The students experienced sport and recreational activities and a chance to participate in elective subjects during the three days.
Over the course of the camp, one Year 6 student was able to participate in a math elective and was given the opportunity to meet and work with other talented students, some of whom will be attending the same high school in 2017.
Another Umina Year 6 student reported enjoying the drama improvisation and playing space jump.
Kayaking was another adventure enjoyed by students during the camp.
