Collecting shopping stickers
Umina Public School is again participating in a program to collect shopping stickers which began on Monday, April 8.
The school managed to collect over 100,000 stickers last year which entitled it to a number of items, including large foam dice, plastic coins, geometric shapes, educational games and charts for display in classrooms, small whiteboards and markers, craft materials, pattern blocks, answer buzzes, glitter and maths resources and numeracy resources.
The school is attempting to exceed last year's 100,000 stickers and is calling on the community to assist them by donating their points from shopping at Woolworths to Umina Public School.
