Condolences to family

St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School principal Mr Frank Cohen has expressed condolences on behalf of the school to the O'Loughlin family after Jeff O'Loughlin lost his battle with cancer on Sunday, March 3.

Mr Cohen said Jeff, who left behind wife Deborah, daughter Abbey (Year 6) and son Thomas (Year 4), put up a good fight against the melanoma.

"It is a credit to him and his family that they have endured a great deal during this time," said Mr Cohen.

"On behalf of the whole school community I pass on our condolences to the O'Loughlin family.

"In their time of need, now and in the future, the strength of our community needs to shine and that together we can make a difficult time easier with our love, support and prayers," said Mr Cohen.

Mr O'Loughlin's funeral was held on Friday, March 8, at the Greenway Chapel in Green Point.
