New event for women

Woy Woy Women's Bowling Club has introduced the Major-Minor Pairs event to its yearly competition calendar.

The competition is formed by a member who has won either the Minor Pairs or the Major Pairs before, and a minor member who has not won either.

The partners are chosen by a random draw.

The inaugural winners for this year were Gail Payne (major) and Christine Gentle (minor) who was a new member this year.

A new trophy was given to the club by Shirley Taylor.
