Grammar improvements

Brisbane Water Secondary College Umina Campus has received its Naplan results and, according to acting principal Ms Kenndell Smith, Umina Campus has excelled in terms of growth.

"In grammar and punctuation, our school has excelled, improving at a much higher rate than the State average and improving considerably more than our 'like' schools," said Ms Smith.

"We are also improving at the state average in reading and are very close in terms of numeracy.

"An excellent effort once again from our wonderful students and dedicated staff," said Ms Smith.
