Guns stolen in house-breaking

Police are investigating a house-breaking after a number of firearms were stolen from a house at Umina.

A house on Ocean Beach Rd was broken into and four firearms were stolen from a gun safe earlier this month, according to police.

The firearms consisted of a Hammerli SP20 pistol, a Smith and Wesson 1911 DK pistol, a Steyr LP10 pistol and an Uberti-Remington revolver.

Detectives from Brisbane Water Local Area Command are investigating the theft and are appealing for anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
