Touch football tournament
Woy Woy South Public School went up against Kincumber Public School in round four of the Primary Schools Sports Association touch football tournament on Friday, September 16.
The boys' team was victorious with a score of 4-2, while the girls' team was defeated 2-1.
The Kincumber side started strongly with fast plays and the ability to gain ground quickly but the Woy Woy boys rallied together to get the ball out wide to left winger Matt Hatch.
The combination of Wil Hudson, Ethan Dodds, Jake Cucek and Lachlan Gow proved productive on three occasions for Woy Woy South.
However, the team's first try was disallowed due to a dropped ball.
The boys then managed to send Eli Wilcock over the line in the second half and Matt Hatch snuck a try through the legs of several Kincumber players.
The girls also dazzled the Kincumber team with their quick plays and aggressive defence with winger Maddie Morghan scoring the only try.
The two girls' teams were equally matched but with only 90 seconds on the clock, Kincumber stole victory from Woy Woy South by 2-1.
