Petition opposes seven-storey plan
A petition with 32 signatures against a seven-storey development proposed for Araluen Dr, Hardy's Bay, has been submitted to Gosford Council.
The petition objects to the proposed development based on a number of negative environmental and social impacts.
A council report stated that the petition objected to the proposed development on the grounds that a large number spotted gum and ironbark forest trees would be removed which was anticipated to have a negative effect upon the area's flora and fauna.
The report also stated that petitioners opposed the height and size of the proposed development, calling it "extremely unattractive and excessive in size".
The petition was noted by council.
