Art at nursery

A local nursery will be holding its first art exhibition with local artists demonstrating their skills from April 1 to April 30.

Creative Courrtyards will feature artists Leila Desborough, Meredith Gilmore and Sherry McCourt.

Ms Desborough will demonstrate the art of sculpting.

Meredith Gilmore will show visitors the colourful uses of pastels while Sherry McCourt will be sketching visitors.

"We have some great new artists joining in as well as a new sandstone range, garden art and sandstone sculptures," owner Ms Janice Rutherford said.

Customers will also have a chance to win a prize when they vote for their favourite piece of art.
