Basketball Games held at centre

The 2007 Academy Games basketball competition was held at the Peninsula Leisure Centre on October 10 and 11.

Four academies from around the state competed in the competition, including the Central Coast Academy of Sport, the Hunter Academy of Sport, Southern Sports Academy and North Coast Academy.

The Hunter Sports High School was also invited to take part in the Games.

The competition was round robin format with the two top teams in each division competing in the finals.

In the end North Coast Academy defeated Central Coast Academy 79-48 in the men's division.

In the women's division Central Coast Academy took out a 54-24 win over South Coast Academy.
