Man charged with shooting
Brisbane Water Police have charged a man following a shooting in Umina on August 10.
Police were called to Donald St shortly before midnight and found a man suffering a serious gunshot wound to his thigh.
The 51-year-old man was taken by ambulance to Gosford Hospital where he underwent surgery.
A 53-year-old man was arrested at Gosford Police Station and a shotgun seized for forensic examination.
He was charged with wounding with intent to murder and firearm offences.
He was refused bail until his appearance in Gosford Court on August 11.
