Chance to win sauna sessions
Peninsula News, in conjunction with Gnostic Healing Sanctuary, is giving readers the chance to win 10 sessions in a far infrared sauna.
The Sanctuary, a natural therapies clinic located in Chambers Place, Woy Woy, has just installed a two-person far-infrared sauna cabin.
Proprietor Ms Kerrianne McNamara said the sauna cabin could be used individually or by couples.
"The heat therapy has health benefits using comfortable 'dry' heat," Ms McNamara said.
"This provides a gentle and deep penetrating heat which can help to relax the body.
"The sauna can bring about a high volume of sweat at a very comfortable level of around 30C to 42C, which can help produce up to two to three times more sweat than is produced by using a regular sauna."
Ms McNamara said a regular 30-minute session in the sauna could provide health benefits including body conditioning, calorie burning, detoxification and youthful skin.
For the opportunity to win the 10-session pass, valued at $300, write your name, address and phone number on the back of an envelope and send it to Far InfraRed Peninsula News Competition, PO Box 532, Woy Woy, 2256.
Enties close on April 27.
