Display shows celebrations
The Umina Multilingual Association held a display for children recently showing celebrations in different countries.
The group consisted of Patou Plummer, Ysolde Stewart, Ruby Esho, Marilyn Paris and Linda Agresti.
Beachside Family Centre facilitator Ms Debbie Notara who helped organise the display said that the group would be looking for other parents with a second language to be involved in more projects to increase awareness of children of other languages and cultures.
Several activities at the centre will begin again in mid-February.
