Club is 'ready for a new year and new goals'

The annual Directors' Dinner has been held at Ettalong Diggers Club "to celebrate as a team, ready for a new year and new goals for 2026".

The Dinner was held with management, staff, life members and colleagues from RSL and Vietnam Veterans' sub-branches.

Board chairperson Ms Judy Gribble opened the evening, followed by chief executive Mr Col Murphy.

Among the guests was outgoing chairman Mr John Wood.

Rotary club announces incoming board members

The Rotary Club of Brisbane Water has announced its incoming Board of Directors for 2026-27.

President will be Ms Cherie Simpson, vice-president Ms Jayne Mote, treasurer Mr Mark Simpson and secretary Ms Di Bartok.

Membership director will be Mr Mitchell Gordon and Rotary Foundation chair Ms Sue O'Neill.

Public image co-ordinator will be Ms Bartok, international service director Mr Steven Gagau and club environment representative Ms Lillias Bovell.

Public officer will be Ms Simpson and bulletin editor Ms Bartok.

Youth service co-chairs will be Mr Gordon and Ms Mote, while youth officer will be Ms Jan Plain.

Ms Simpson will take the club administration and service portfolio.
