Another bus service lost

In response to the article on December 20 regarding the loss of bus services, we have also lost a good bus service.

The 52 bus used to service Woy Woy, Ettalong and Umina and has now ceased.

This is forcing workers, the elderly and school children who live along Bourke Rd into a long walk in the dark, the heat and now the rain.

Bourke Rd was served by two buses an hour and we now have three a day which we consider an insult to a lot of travellers.

With regard to the consultation period, letters and emails were not answered, phone calls to the 1800 number did not answer and no notice was taken of written submissions.
