The Woy Woy speed camera on Ocean Beach Rd has collected $352,176 with 2703 fines in the last year, ranking it 49th in the State.

The other Woy Woy speed camera on Blackwall Rd collected 2261 fines, totalling $276,529, ranking it as 54th.

Woy Woy's Stan Twindley will be competing in his fifth Gosford to Lord Howe Island yacht race when the gun sounds in Broken Bay for the start of this year's classic.

Twindley will be on Bill Koppe's Boden 44 Class yacht, which won handicap honours in the race and also the Sydney to Hobart yacht race in 2002.

Ettalong Memorial and Halekulani Bowling Clubs have been included in a new competition to embrace 11 clubs in the Port Stephens, Newcastle, Hunter and Central Coast regions.

Local representative Mr John Roberts of Ettalong said the concept involved singles, pairs, and triples rubbers played on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays starting at 5pm.
