Fire awareness sessions on Saturday
The Bays Rural Fire Brigade will hold fire awareness sessions for Get Ready Weekend from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, September 21.
One will be at Deepwater Plaza Shopping Centre, outside Gloria Jeans, and the other at the fire station, on the corner of Woy Woy Rd and Wattle Cres, Phegans Bay.
The sessions offer the opportunity for residents to chat with their local volunteer firefighters about how to prepare for the fire season with practical tips and expert advice.
Fire Plans will be available for residents to complete ahead of the fire season.
A sausage sizzle will be held at the fire station.
